Research My main research is on the reproductive strategies based on genetic compatibility in vertebrates. I also work on color and odor sexual signals, mainly focusing on body scent as a cue of MHC similarity. I work mainly on birds which have long been thought to have a poor sense of smell. My projects bring together the fields of behavioral ecology, microbiology and chemical ecology. |
